Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is an enchanting story filled with magic and wonder. The book is about a young boy called Harry Potter whose parents were killed by the notorious villain Voldemort. Harry and his two friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley must find out how to prevent the dark forces from getting their hands on the Philosopher's Stone, while trying to keep on top of school work at the same time. The trio go on marvelous adventures throughout the series with many twists and turns along the way. I give Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone a 5/5 rating and recommend it for four children in years 5,6 and 7 because the book is quite deep and there are some frightening bits so it is not suitable for younger readers. All round Harry Potter is an amazing series.
