On Thursday the 8th June, St. Luke's students from years 7-12, spent exactly 12 hours to take part in the 'Write a Book in a Day' competition. It was a long, tough and stressful period but nevertheless, it was a fun and meaningful day. The day went by really quickly, in the morning the parameters were given, each team with different characters, issues, settings and random words they had to adapt with. The book was aimed for the age group of 10 to 16 year olds for the Kid's Cancer Project - a challenge to be sure! By the end of the day each team successfully finished their books with a wide range of story plots and illustrations. It was without a doubt that everyone was tired, but a big congratulations to all the members of the teams for finishing their stories.
